Staff assess each dog’s energy and temperament at arrival. From there, every dog enters the pack and is welcome to play with the rest of the dogs. We do not discriminate based on breed, we only make decisions based on observed behavior.
Dogs cycle between play and rest on their own throughout the day, and the room is set up so that any dog who wants to step out of play can lie down on one of the beds available in the daycare space. If a staff member sees a dog showing signs of overstimulation, they move that dog onto a bed for a quiet break until they settle, then let them rejoin the pack. The goal is a sustainable energy level across the room, with dogs self-regulating wherever they can.
Dogs on medications receive doses on schedule. Owners specify timing and dosing at intake. This information goes into the dog’s file and is used by every staff member on shift, not only the person who completed intake.

Puppies under 1 year
Puppies are not separated into age-appropriate groups. They join the same pack as the adult dogs, which is how they learn appropriate play structure and body language from well-mannered, experienced dogs. Vaccination records are required before joining the pack. Grooming is available as an add-on to daycare or boarding visits. Services include bath and blow-dry, brush-out and deshedding treatment, nail trim and grind, ear cleaning, and breed-specific haircuts by appointment.
Grooming is scheduled toward the end of the stay so the dog goes home clean rather than sleeping on a fresh groom for another night or two.
